About the Artist

Leila has lived in Salmon, Idaho for nearly 40 years. She studied art at Boise Junior College in the 60's and recently in 2004 graduated with a Bachelor of Sociology from the University of Montana at Missoula.

She enjoys hiking, camping & fly fishing in the mountains surrounding Salmon. Between these local outings and studying art while traveling in Portugal, France and Italy she has discovered a wide range of material and experiences to draw inspiration from.

When not painting and traveling, Leila is the Owner/Broker of Town & Country Realty in Salmon, Idaho. She has been in Real Estate for over 17 years in the Lemhi Valley.
